Video Daily Double from inside the Machine

I don't really know why, but the Cap'n is in a Tron kind-of mood today, and since it's a Video Daily Double day, you're getting two Tron-related videos. Fortunately for you, it's not Tron Guy or the Tron Girl Music Video. Both are strictly related to Tron or Tron Legacy.

Join the Cap'n tomorrow for my review of The Social Network, a film I watched nearly a month ago and have been talking up to anybody listening.

Our first video is a "modern" re-edit of Tron's trailer, and it's pretty good. I'm not in love with the opening text, but it certainly sells the film well. Check it out:

Our second video is a music video / extended trailer / soundtrack spot for Tron Legacy that contains new footage and gives fans the first sense of what Daft Punk's score is going to sound like. Aside from the digitally de-aged Jeff Bridges (which still creeps me out), the Cap'n fully supports this:

Extra Bonus Video - A few readers have asked the Cap'n where that picture of Jeff Bridges as The Dude wearing a Tron helmet came from. The answer is in this video, which Bridges sent to Lebowskifest last year.
