The Video Daily Double is Where It's At!

Greetings, and welcome back to the Video Daily Double, your home for vintage educational films, industrial films, propaganda, and promotional shorts. For the summer, we've transitioned from educational to sales films, and as we move away from the vehicular sort, I thought I'd share some shorts designed to sell you not a thing, but a place! The second spot is even more fun because a rather well known horror film was set almost entirely in the space being pitched to potential clients.

On with the buying!

Our first film, New York, The Dynamic City, is a promotional film designed to bolster tourism to the Empire City. Considering that this was made somewhere between Midnight Cowboy and Taxi Driver, one might say that those conceptions of New York City might merit an aggressive tourism campaign.

Our second film is a promotional film for the Gateway Commerce Center, a massive undergound storage facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You might recognize it from a little movie called Day of the Dead.
