Spoiler of the Day: Dark City

 *All Together Now* Aliens have been kidnapping humans to study their behavior. The city our hero (Rufus Sewell) wakes up in is not on Earth, but a floating station somewhere in space. The aliens periodically wipe the memories of their subjects, set up new scenarios, and watch them play out. With the help of Doctor Schreiber, the aliens' human accomplice, Sewell learns how to manipulate the city, save Jennifer Connelly, and defeat his captors. At the end they stand on a pier. Sewell writes down his experiences and sends them to Earth, where the Wachowski brothers and Joel Silver promptly replace the word "aliens" with "robots," change the title to "The Matrix," and sit back and make megabucks. Then two terrible sequels.
