The Cap'n Presents: Have Your Own Horror Fest!

Greetings, Blogorium readers! Welcome of Shocktober, the Cap'n's own personal favorite time of the year. As you noticed on Friday, Horror Fest V: The Revenge of Cap'n Howdy is scheduled for the end of the month, but let's say you can't make it to that, or, perhaps you'd like to spend the entire month celebrating all things horror like I do.

Well, because the Cap'n is such a swell fella, I've put together a list of "themed" mini-marathons you can have in the comfort of your own living room. Choose any or all of the following, kick back, and get ready for a dose of old favorites, new frights, and a few films you never knew existed...

The Stepfather

Village of the Damned

The Bad Seed

Faces of Schlock:

Pontypool

The Signal

In the Mouth of Madness

Prince of Darkness

The Crazies

Not for the Faint of Heart:

Baby Blood

Dead Alive

Cat in the Brain

Now, this is by no means a "complete" list, and there are many more categories you could try on your own (like "Animals Gone Wild," "From Across the Pond," "French Fright," "Zombie Mania," or "Bad Dreams"), but I'm hoping that as you seek out these films, and as you broaden the horror palette, new titles will appear and before you know it Horror Fest is happening to you all month long!
