It's a simple question, but I'd like to open up the floor to you folks:
What was your first horror movie? Which film brought you into the genre, and why did that experience keep you coming back?

My first horror flick was Friday the 13th part VIII: Jason takes Manhattan. My brother was having some sort of party and I wanted to be in there, him being older. The two things I recall from that viewing was when Jason stabs the dude and pulls out his intestines while he is boning a chick. It looked like giant noodles still does but it was cool. Also when he knocked the dudes head off into the dumpster. That showed the power that these ghouls and monsters could have and it was fucking funny. I was hooked.
